Bereavement Ministry & Funeral Receptions
As we strive to serve our parish and community, being the face of Christ to others, we offer support for grieving families. During this time our guilds offer support in the form of meals after funeral Masses. Each guild alternates in serving the grieving family in this caring way. If you want more information contact Diane Wright in the Church office.

Altar Care
The altar is the focal point of the church, the table on which the Eucharist is offered. We want our church and altar area to show our care and concern for this precious Sacrament. Our guilds and other groups are responsible for general cleaning of the altar area on a rotating basis, including replenishing and cleaning the Holy Water fonts, cleaning the candlesticks and refreshing the plants. We welcome all who are interested in this ministry. If you wish to help or would like more information, please contact. Joan Suggs.....""

Laudato Si
Laudato Sí is a letter written by Pope Francis inviting us to transform our hearts in a greater love for God, each other, and all of God’s creation. The CCW is going to explore some ways to answer this call and pay attention to God the Creator. We pray that we pay attention to our relationship with God and His Creation, learn about it, grow in it, and get reshaped and renewed by it.
The first and most important thing we can do as followers of Christ is to pray. Following Francis of Assisi let us begin our prayers with praise and thanksgiving:
“We thank You, Lord, for the perfection with which You
created our mother earth. For filling her with beauty,
goodness and generosity. For looking at her with love,
because by contemplating her You reaffirmed that
everything created was very good.
We thank You, Lord, for the trees, plants and flowers
that speak to us through Your silence, for the song of
the birds that in their diversity sing a beautiful melody
to their Creator, for the air that gently caresses us.
We thank You for all the Universe that in constant
movement renews, recreates and transforms itself,
elevating our being to You and making us contemplate
Your greatness, praising You for all that You have
created.”
Amen
This prayer was selected from a prayer book: Laudato Sí Movement Prayer Book.
